The highlights of the weekend

The welcome evening

Friday 13th march 7pm

If the weather permits, we invite all festival-goers on Friday evening from 7pm at the Chamousse 1650 ice rink for a welcome evening, with skates on. A light dinner will be offered until 9pm. On this occasion, we invite festival-goers to bring a culinary specialty from their region. Experience has shown us that around a good bottle or a nice piece of typical cheese, language barriers and shyness do not last long.

During the evening, the most daring participants will be able to take part in an epic hockey match.

Car/motorcycle gatherings

Throughout the weekend

A gathering of vintage vehicles (pre-1969) is planned throughout the weekend, with a dedicated parking area and improvised rides to suit the weather and your mood. As every year, the event will start on Saturday mornings with a meeting point at the locality of "des seiglières" between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The convoy will leave around 10:45 a.m. for the Chamrousse resort, arriving around 11:30 a.m.

Another mechanical meeting is planned for Sunday morning around 9 a.m. in the dedicated parking lot, near the tourist office of Recoin / Chamrousse 1650.

VINTAGE SKIING CONTEST

Saturday, March 15, 2025 - 4pm

One of the highlights of the weekend is definitely the "Vintage Slalom" on Saturday afternoon where around twenty skiers compete each year in 3 categories: 30s/40s, 50s/60s and a Ski Bike or "Ski Bike" category. skibob". For each of these categories, the participant must proudly present (and practice) period clothing and equipment! Those who still hold on to their cruciate ligaments will be invited to encourage the valiant competitors with the sound of their bell and other period sound utensils of course.

The sledding race

Saturday 14th march - 6pm

Solo or as a couple, Saturday will end with a final event open to all. The principle is simple: a downhill race of old sleds with a line start.

FLEA MARKET

Throughout the weekend

During the festival, stands offer vintage items (clothing, equipment, skiing, accessories, trinkets, etc.) related to the history of winter sports. If you wish to exhibit your collections or sell items, please specify this when registering via the form below.

The dance evening

Saturday 14th march - 9pm - 02am

After a great day outdoors, you’ll be invited to dress up (evening attire required) and spend the evening with us. A dinner will be followed by a concert by Coucou Musette, then a DJ set by the duo Supersonic Swingers, who will keep you dancing late into the night to a musical selection ranging from the 1930s to the 1960s. This evening will take place, as every year, in the community hall of the Tourist Office.

Coucou Musette is a quartet bringing together guitar, double bass, accordion and vocals. Inspired by the riverside dance halls of the Marne, swing and American jazz of the 30s and 40s, with a nod to a delightfully old-fashioned imagination of yesteryear, the group offers music geared towards dancing, energy and shared pleasure.

Dancing cession

Throughout the weekend

Over the weekend, you will have the opportunity to take part in dance activities with Arnaud, a dancer from the company. La Guinguette Mobile.

Dress code

Throughout the weekend

To experience this journey back in time in the finest detail and texture, we invite our participants to respect a coherent dress code. Ski outfits and evening wear must be vintage (pre-1969) or inspired by it.
